Kuznetsova -120 vs. Na Li
This is really a coin flip between two very capable players. I'll tip Kuznetsova in this match for two reasons. First off, she should be looking to bounce back from a disappointing US Open & can draw back on a disappointing Olympic loss to Na Li (in her home country of China no less) as inspiration. Secondly, Kuznetsova should be riding high after helping Russia win the Fed Cup over Spain with a couple of nice wins - albeit on clay. Still, I think Kuznetsova has to fight back for respect after faltering a bit late in the season while Li had a great run late in the summer & could be a bit flat after some time off. Should be a tight match with the winner getting it done in straights I think.

They're both pretty good, hence the prices being just about even. Lots of variables too that again is all in the guesswork of making a selection. I think Li could be rusty after resting a few weeks whereas someone who likes Li would point out that Kuznetsova could have trouble readjusting back from a couple clay court matches.

Won't be surprised at all with Li winning & if these two played a best of seven series, it'd probably go to a 7th match - that's how even it is. I just like the factors I see a slight bit better for Kuznetsova. We'll see what happens.

I'm gonna be pissed at myself if this misses now. I passed on both Srebotnik +240 & Razzano +160 because I wasn't quite sold and both straighted seeded opponents.

I'm just looking at the match stats. Both of these girls SUCK out loud serving tonight. Both were under 50% on their 1st serve in the 1st set & Kuznetsova blew a double break point & a 40-15 lead on her own serve, back-2-back in the 2nd set. 3rd set is going to be interesting seeing as each girl had one horrible set each.

I won't be shocked if Kuznetsova gets smoked because she gives up after her pathetic display.
