Roddick has been the superior player of the two. Djokovic struggled through against Robredo while Roddick is well rested since his Gulbis encounter. Even if Djokovic played possum with the injuries/intestinal issues - he has shown he is suspect to big serves (Cilic) & steady play (Robredo). Roddick has the serve and amazingly has been as steady as ever with his shot selection and placement. I've seen Roddick anywhere from +105 to +120 still. My guess is by match time tomorrow, no one is at plus money.

LoL. No actually I think I said it yesterday too, I think Dementieva is going to win unless she completely breaks down. Jankovic has been struggling most of the tourney. I think she'll need to play with few mistakes and hope Dementieva makes plenty.

Still rooting for Jankovic, but no play on it for me as I am just hoping upon hope that she slips thru!

Definitely Roddick today....would like to have an injury TO prop bet if they had one as you know Jokeavic will complain of back problems at some point....won't matter, Roddick is focused ...skipped the Olympics to concentrate on doing well here and Novak had to play a lot longer match last time out while Roddick breezed through Gonzalez...

I'm a bit surprised the line is that high actually, considering Safina's run this summer. I like Serena since I have her in my futures. Should be a quality match though. Safina seems to have fought through her first mental breakdown, but when is the next one?


As a note, I wouldn't take the -240 or whatever it is. That's just too high for this stage when either person could win.

Match is on Saturday I believe. Nadal is on a quest to get the only other major he hasn't won, still I won't lay -400 or thereabouts. I don't think Murray has the guts to keep it together - he showed cracks vs. Del Potro trying to close that out - I do think Murray is a good enough returner however to take a set from Nadal & IF he can just be totally balls on his serve, well then this might be a 5 setter & then who knows because Murray shouldn't feel pressure if he gets to that point.
