It is win % first in BTP then units to separate the ties if I am not mistaken. If the Prick goes 3-1, you have to go 4-0 to beat him. You doin't win if you are 2-2 and have more units unless I totally missed something in that game. Anywho, that's how we roll here. Best record gets you top spot.

You must Beat The Prick to win. If The Prick scores +3.00 and you score +3.10 you will have beaten The Prick. However, if The Prick goes 4-0 with his football plays, there are no winners.

also 10-3-2 is actually a better percentage than yezzir. yezzir's won only if you go by total wins.

Okay perhaps I don't comprehend the Prick then very well. Since I boned it, I'll give yezzir and moses free entries.

I do think I want to go based on win % first though as far as figuring out the weekly winner. Let me talk it over with tevari and figure it out for future reference.

I just think the goal is to see who is the most accurate and if you go say 10-5 with +5 units whereas someone else is 8-7 with +7 because they hit two best bets isn't the overall indicator that I was looking for with this contest.

Guess maybe I should say a BTP hybrid because obviously with differently lines available in tennis as far as +105 on a spread all the way to -120 or so, there can be some wide scoring variations whereas you don't see that much in BTP.

In any case, let me converse ... your thoughts welcomed as well.

just get rid of best bets, then. What's the point of best bets according to the way you want to go? Your complaint is essentially you don't like best bets because % is a better indicator than getting lucky with a best bet. So just make every pick worth the same.

My suggestion:

go with units, but throw out best bets. Winning percentage can be tiebreaker if two people have same units (but somehow have different %s).

Let me get this going in the main thread I made for the contest and see what people want. We could just go strictly based on units if that's what everyone wants. It doesn't matter to me. Just want something people will be interested in.
