hello,

i'm new to this forum so i don't know what the rules are or something like that but still i decided to post my first thread. I've been betting on tennis for about 8 years now and been folowing the game for a long time+ played tennis for more than 15 years

Soo my first pick:
Anna Chakvetadze vs Monica Niculescu
I don't really like to bet on tournaments before slams but this one i couldn't refuse. Chakvetadze has recoverd from a bad illnes and she said she is ready for new season and healthy, so she will have to grab every point she could get to get beck to top where she used to be. So this match means more to her than Monica and i really like the odds on her here. I thing she will fight for a good start to new season.

That went well, She blew Monica off the court.

I was looking for today match ups and still deciding on what to bet, but i'm sure i will put a bet on Petkovic and stepanek.

Petkovic vs Pavlyuchenkova
Petkovic is much better than Pavlyuchenkova and started season with 2 good wins and then lost to hot Kanepi. And against kanepi had chances in tie break, i think if she would have taken them she could defeted her in that mach, but after loosing that first set,it all went down for her. Pavlyuchenkova defeted Hercong, who is very very poor on the hard courts and doesnt look ready for new season in first round easly and then got blown off the court from Kanepi. didn't have any chances really. I see Petkovic win in 2.

Stepanek vs Mallise
Mallise is just in bad form. Last week he got beaten by Goffin. I think Mallise decided to focus on doubles more than on singles. He is just not putting any efford of winning anyone. Second half of last year he was just bad. Couldn't win anyone. And i mean anyone ( had like 8 straight losess). Can't really see anythink changed for mallise this year after his match against Goffin. Stepanek is in good form. Beat 2 avrage+ opponents last week and then lost to dolgopolov in 2. I see eazy win for Stepanek.

I was also thinking about Benneteau and Baghdatis but haven't decided yet

With you on Petkovic, but even as an Aussie myself -125 on Ebden feels like bad value. Agree he has a chance though.

What about the other young Aussie up in morning Duckworth? Disposed of Mahut and kept Simon honest in Brissy.

+405 against Neiminem? Whom I'd take Simon and probably Mahut against 99 times out of 100.

Just a gut feel play mostly though...

I don't really like that play. I think Nieminen is much better player and counting Duckworth plays at home anythong can happen. At the end of last year Jarko played some great tennis and i think he will be looking to continue that. I would rather bet on Jarko 2-0, but like i said anything can happen.

But i'm looking into Kuznetsova and i really really like her today against Zvonareva. Any thoughts on that?

I just skimmed over that match. Seemed a bit hard with Vera first match back, and I didn't take much notice of the Auckland event Kuz played in.

Today i think i will go with my yesterdays pick Stepanek/Anderson and Benneteau. I also like Dokic today but haven't decided what to do yet.
