Look at all that money I made on these last two matches. Maybe I just need to stay up all night and bet $1s ...

Yeah it's awful. He's ranked 83rd - 100 places higher than Hewitt ffs. He's not going to set the world on fire and fair enough if people who only bet Slams aren't familiar with him but for commentators to say they don't know Stebe? It's just like the crack they made about Paszek. Players will watch the tape... and to have these dingbats say things like that is just totally not on. I can handle the bias towards Aussies as that's to be expected but they may as well just show Aussie matches if they're going to be like that... oh wait: Their bottling golden girl got tossed today. Especially in a country that is very tennis aware - much more so than North America and the majority of Europe - it's insulting to people who are watching even just as fans. Take Courier home thank you.

Courier and Leconte have both been acting like jokes. Leconte is so French biased it's actually funny at least.

Roddick is currently -300 on 5dimes. Too much juice there. I think adding him in parlays is solid though.
Anyone been looking at lines for today's matches? I'm looking forward to another late night of swearing at my laptop

Yeah I just put all my bets in. Whatever's in John Morrison's points thread is what I have cash on but I don't feel as good about them as I did yesterday. Could be because I'm still half asleep but there's nothing that I'm really excited about. Just played what my numbers said to. GL with your bets everyone!

Thanks Shari. I found your post. You really think Cipolla has a chance? That is a pretty nice underdog that I will have to tail you on.
Are there any good tennis handicapping websites out there that show pertinent information about the matchup? I find the WTA and ATP websites to be awful when searching for information to try and handicap these matches.
EDIT: To save some other people the trouble of digging up Shari's picks. Here are here SBR Point selections which she also has real wagers on. (Hope its ok to post them here)
32 on Cipolla +275 to win 88
26 on Nalbandian -130 to win 20
32 on Dimitrov +125 to 40
12 on Govortsova +175 to win 21
34 on Voskoboeva -170 to win 20
12 on Parmentier games won +5 -115

Alright, boom goes the dynamite.
Australian Open: January 17th
Parlay: Lopez + Tomic [-120] Lopez draws Cipolla who upset Davydenko in Round 1. Let's be honest, it wasn't so much that Cipolla played great, Davydenko played like horse shit and Cipolla played well enogh to beat that effort. Cipolla left eleven break opps out there and only saved two. He barely won over 50% of his points on 1st serve and second. Lopez did well enough considering it was his first match of 2012. He had a solid win rate on 1st serve and that's his major advantage here, better serve and really better ground strokes suited to this surface. Lopez doesn't make deep runs in Melbourne usually, but this draw is set-up to get him through another round if he serves well. Tomic showed a ton of guts in coming back from 0-2 against Verdasco. The weather today should really help the Aussie as cooler temps are in from the scorching conditions he battled during his comeback. Querrey is the competition. The Samurai surely will be a test, but Querrey is still trying to rebound from last year's disastrous and injury plagued campaign. Sam hasn't shown much early in 2012 that shows me he can beat Tomic if Tomic plays near his best. Tomic should still have a ton of confidence here with how his 2012 has begun and if he can start fast and avoid digging himself into a hole, I think he'll move on.
Isner +100 Isner draws Nalbandian. Nalbandian is still a little tough to gauge here as he's only played one exhibition match against Murray and part of the opening round against an obviously fatigued Nieminen. Nalbandian hasn't been overly impressive at his last few hard court Slams, so if The Big Tie Break brings his A+ serve today, look for him to work it through for a win. Tie break play figures big in this one, both are excellent tie break players - but Nalbandian hasn't been quite as good against the better players in the past year or so.
Wawrinka-Baghdatis Over 39.5 [-130] Both can absolute dominate on their best days or fail miserably on their worst. Baghdatis has the better form for sure and will have the fan base in this night match. Wawrinka has been pretty poor early this season, but he's certainly good enough to take a set here and I don't think anyone would be shocked if he wins today - although he'll have to amp it up a couple notches to give that a shot. Still, if Baggy's serve is as stout as it was in Round 1 and WaWa isn't in Peckerhead mode, this should be a good one and have a great shot at seeing a lot of games.

I hadn't really been impressed with him this year before now. I think he should have played one of the pre-tourneys instead of that exhibition BS he played in. Didn't expect him to lose, but did not expect more than a couple wins from him. That's why I thought Del Potro really had a nice draw here if he could find his game.

I think it's going to be a tough year for Fish. He had a career year at 29. Guys don't often improve with age after 30. He might get a little lucky here in the 3rd. Falla looks like he is cramping now, but Fish still sucks.

Here comes the Fish. If he wins this set, might be another 0-2 rally in the making.
Adding ...
D.Young -125 People who have followed the tennis forum here know that I am not a fan of "The Donald" ... but I am taking him in this spot. Lacko has played real well here through qualis and beat Old Man River [Ljubicic] in the 1st round, flashing a lot of pop on his serve. Young had to go 5 also, but dominated the three sets he won. What I like here is Lacko has really struggled against lefties, just 2-10 vs. southpaws in his career on the ATP level. Young whipped him at the US Open and while that result may be far fetched here, I think if Young shows a little more consistency ... he can survive here.

These cramps could be huge. Its not nearly as hot as the past two days.
Fish is as thin as I have ever seen him though. Fish gets the break, seeing fish at -140 in 1.71 live betting. Fish is about to blow his break

Fish chucks the break right back. Falla should do him a favor and beat him in straights. I really think Fish is going to drop like a rock in the rankings this year.
He's still whining about Falla getting treatment. You know you're beaten when you're whining on that.

Maybe Fish got mono again from his hot wife or something. His forehand has no pop on it at all. He worked Falla all over the court on several points and last year, he was ripping those in for winners.
