    Nadal/Djokovic 8.15
I just put a very large bet (a weeks worth of baseball bets) on Nadal -200.

I rarely bet on big favs in these situations but I feel this is a good one. Am I asking for trouble??

I got Novak +172. He's better on hard courts.

I like Nadal here. Revenge from Cincy when Nadal was fatigued & had just got over the #1 hump. Opportunity for a gold medal on top of two slams already won & a chance to make a statement going into the US Open. I won't pay the price because I don't do faves over -175 in tennis ... but I think he wins.

Eagles, I respectfully disagree. Yes, Nadal has revenge in mind, but is that enough to make him -200 over a player that is better or at worst equal on this surface? It is either the Djoker or pass for me.

Bostonbruins, yes you are asking for trouble laying -200 vs. Djokavich playing on his best surface.

i don't know shit about tennis these days
but imo that's too much. nadal still hasn't proven shit on hardcourt and it's way different for him.

in my mind the line should have been -130 or -140 tops for nadal, therefore, i went with djockovic at +170, for more units then i usually do.

Yeah, I don't blame you and I may add this play as well. Just waiting for line to come out at a couple of books.

Disagree on the line. I think it opened at -190 maybe? Correct me if wrong. But we're talking about a guy who was playing the best tennis of his career (32 match W streak) & became the new #1 at the time of his last loss - he's going to be getting the Federer lines in the future unless Nadal proves he can't handle being #1. I don't think the line was as obscene as some of you believe it to be especially with the way Djokovic looked in the Toronto final against Murray who took a dive early in the Olympics + outside of 1st match jitters vs. Starace, Nadal has been dominant in Beijing. Djoko had his problems in his last two matches, but did survive.

Nadal was tired when he lost to the Djoker. Nadal should be considered the clear favorite, but -200 is a LOT. I think this would probably be a play on Djoker or no play.

I got Nadal +200 to win the gold. Huge win over the Djoker and now only Gonzo awaits.

-400 for the Gold? It's gonna be big. Should bet on the Bronze instead. That's probably the only value you get in the medal round or take Nadal in straight sets.

WOW, I didn't realize the match was this morning. I guess that explains why I could't find a line at my books!

On a positive note, I saved some money.

freaking NOLE, cost me money, why i have decided to put 3 units on it? i usually dont do that, i cant wait for the olympics to be over.

do you guys think this win puts Nadal's chances to win USO into probable now?
