ATP Challenger Tour Finals Contest

[EaglesPhan36]

November 16th-20th to fill the gap before next week's ATP Finals. First time ever for this event. Anyone down for a contest next week?

http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Ten...Announced.aspx

Will work on details if there is enough interest.

[Aeiou1x2]

I am in. Please count me in.

[EaglesPhan36]

Bumping for interest.

[yisman]

I think so.

[beefcake]

Hell yeah..Was going to post about this but you beat me too the punch..

Bullshit that Bellucci got the wildcard..

He still wont win!

[EaglesPhan36]

Only reason Bellucci is here is because I think they wanted to make sure someone would show up to watch the event and he's a Brazilian. I think they probably would have done the same depending on it being in a different country. Say if it was in the States, I was thinking James Blake would be there.

[beefcake]

James Blake, the king of the Challenger finals..

IMO watch out for Marcel Stebe...Could surprise. The tourney is on hard, so I can not pick Machado, Sela is a former #26 and hard is his game..Wonder if 5 dimes will post futures?

[EaglesPhan36]

Okay, so three people right now: Aeiou, yisman, beefcake ... Any more takers? Hoping to get a half dozen at least to make it interesting. Chime in by tomorrow so I can set this up or not.

That's most of how they decide the wild cards in general.

[EaglesPhan36]

Alright. Well I will work up the format today and post it up for those interested. Since it seems we might only have a handful of people, I am going to suggest a 20 point SBR fee for entry to make the prize payout better if that's cool. I have enough extra SBR points floating around to probably cover a person or two in here if you're a non-Pro and need more time to pay up.

[Tsonga]

i'm interested...

[EaglesPhan36]

Will have info up shortly. Sorry got really bogged down at work this afternoon.

[EaglesPhan36]

ENTRY FEE: 20 SBR POINTS.

*Fee is due upon placing your entry into the contest. If you are a non-Pro and cannot give more than two points per day, you must give two points up front and continue to give two points each day until paid in full. Failure to do so will result in your entry being voided and all points accumulated will still go toward the prize payout.

FORMAT

1. Pick The Top 2 Players in Each Group Who Will Advance after the Round Robin portion of the schedule. Place them in the order you think they will finish.

Example: VERDE: 1. Bellucci, 2. Reynolds.

GRUPO VERDE: Bellucci, Klizan, Beck, Reynolds
GRUPO AMARELO: Machado, Sela, Stebe, Bachinger

2. Pick the two players who you think will meet in the final & pick your Champion.

*Remember, they will criss cross the semifinalists. #1 from GRUPO VERDE plays #2 from GRUPO AMARELO, so it is possible that two players from the same group meet in the final.

3. Every day, you will be required to pick the winners of each match played. You must submit the following information for each match.

WINNER
# of sets
Total # of Games Played

I'll get the scoring format out in a little bit. Just wanted to post this so you can begin posting picks in here. Will post Day 1 matches below to pick.
