ESPN just said all the matches between Fed and Karlo have been "air tight".....

Federer has only lost two sets through 6 matches, and won all 6 matches! Given there were a # of tiebreaks but thats to be expected with the serving skills between these guys, but to act like Federer wasn't in complete control is simply being inaccurate.

I've seen a number of those karlovic fed matches.They were actually really close. Had money on Federer for all of the matches and it pissed me off to continually see fed stand there as Karlovics serve blew by him.
The thing was that whenever Roger actually returned karlovic's serve, he won the point about 80% of the time because Karlovic has nothing else

The scores may have been close, but Fed has never been endangered against Karlo IMO and the 6-0 is telling. Even todays match might be a 7-5, 6-4, or 7-6 7-5 affair, but Fed being up one break on Karlo is the equivalent of dbl breaks to most players.

Same as Nadal taking 3 TB's to beat Karlo in Queens, never felt he was in any danger regardless of score.
