    nishikori vs giraldo
I'm actually somewhat surprised nishikori is -120 against giraldo...granted, both players are about even i'd admit but nishikori just beat big-name tsonga and took out haase b4 that. Giraldo did beat melzer but melzer choked and dodig hasn't been playing that good lately. I think Giraldo does good against defensive-oriented players and so I can see him match up against nishikori but kei beat him down 2 sets in the clay courts and he's liking these courts....i thought that nishikori would be a bigger favorite just bc he beat tsonga, any thoughts on this.

btw, i do like nishikori just bc he's a more consistent player....ANY THOUGHTS???

I had hasse earlier this week, One thing you can be sure of is that KEI gives full effort and doesn't quit. But Hasse really did choke there.

Oh yes, that is one thing I know is very very true about nishikori...a lot of heart and truly never quits. I forgot to mention that chokejob by hasse...gotta credit kei for coming back and winning but hasse is probably one of the biggest chokers that i've seen on the atp throughout the yrs, it's unbelievable how great he looks at one point during a match and how god awful he gets at others. No excuse for losing that match, NONE. That must've been a bad beat bro, trust me i've been there b4 (most notably with ivanovic smh) Thos losses suck no lie

Yea it was gross. No excuse.

Doesn't Kei have some sort of back issue going on? I realize he beat Tsonga but wasn't the play interrupted for a few trainer visits?

yes matty, has some back issues but definitely doesn't seem like it's anything serious...don't see him pulling a "djokovic" lol

Usually if the books are begging you to take someone at a price ... the opposite seems the better choice. Not always, but seen it happen quite a bit. I think if Giraldo can serve well, he can win.
