had 50 some zips over the years with hockey and this one takes the cake... was reaching under computer chair to turn knob to tighten it and wasn't paying attention and sat down while not pulling hand out quick enough, finger was stuck for 15 mins in metal clamps under chair, lost a boat load of blood (BP was 80/50, couldn't give me pain pills), was close to passing out but finally got it free after 15 mins... had to go to ER to get zips.

Ouch.

My girlfriends mom did something similar.

She was in KFC for lunch and had her fingers got stuck under the chair somehow and it took a piece of her finger off.

This kinda stuff happens, apparently.

She is suing KFC.....

sorry to hear that... yes I guess it does happen, felt like the biggest tool, but something that started out as minor turned serious very quickly once I realized my finger was destroyed and I couldn't get it free, amount of blood lost caused the low BP but just thankful things worked out. Finger killls but always could have been worse.
