Waiver Wire works this way. Anyone can put in a claim on a player that is not currently on someone's roster. You do so by PM-ing EaglesPhan36 with the player you wish to pick up and the one you wish to drop. In the event that two people request the same player at the same time, the Waiver Wire order is how the pick is selected. Whomever has the higher priority on the Waiver Wire list for the week is granted the player requested. Otherwise, waiver claims will be completed in the order that they are received. They will be posted in this thread and PM confirmation to the team owner.

If a player is picked up, you go to the bottom of the Waiver Wire list for the next week with anyone who did not select a free agent moving up a spot or however many are necessary for the week.

WAIVER WIRE DEADLINE IS 10pm ET every SUNDAY. You can begin requesting free agents after the roster deadline at Midnight ET on Sundays has passed.

Realize for this 1st week that not everyone will have players playing in the two tournaments. Just the way it shakes out following the draft. Obviously after this week, it's in your best interest to try and make sure you have four starters who will be in a tournament for the scoring week.

It's kinda late to do switches this week and all. I'd either propose we muddle through this first week or if you want, we can scrap this week and start with next week's matches so people can try to get a better grasp on things. I'm down with whatever the majority want.

I think Part of the drafting process was drafting guys who are going to play more if you wanted to. If you draft federer you sacrifice playing time and opportunity to pick up points by having an elite player when he does play. Waivers should as planned start after the deadline.

The way I look at it also ... just because someone has four guys to start this week, two guys or one guy does not guarantee anything. Under our scoring system, you lose points for losing a match - so technically someone with no starters could actually be in better position than someone with four starters depending on how they do in their matches.

If I had a software program that handled it or knew Rainman, I'd be okay with it - but for tennis, I think that's just too much. From looking around before building this up, it seemed like this was a fairly routine type of format as far as ease of grading and tracking.
