I'm pretty sure it's bigger than anyone who lives in the USA or Russia can appreciate. There's always an extra motivation when a Ukranian/Georgian/Belarusian plays a Russian, or one of the smaller Baltic states plays a bigger Scandinavian country. Or Uruguay vs Argentina.
