Head fake or respect to Z's record this year, especially in 3rd sets (think she is unbeaten, like 14-0)?



Stosur has won the last 7 H2H meetings and is 7-1 overall (3 hard court). I understand being in good form and a 2-0, 3-0, H2H wouldn't be something I locked on to but 7 straight and she is the dog here. Especially owning this record against a player like Z, being a mental midget and all.... this one has me scratching my head.


Thoughts?

Also think this could be one of those ones where you hit the opener hard at +114 and quite possibly could hit Z as a dog closer to match time since Stosur seems to be a popular choice among fans over the years.... just a thought.

Think it's similar to the Del Potro-Simon line wherein Simon is getting respect for beating Del Potro, much like Zvonareva I think is getting it for beating Lisicki who has been the "It" girl for the better part of the summer. As I said with Simon, if Simon had not beaten Del Potro whom everyone seems to have thought was in some great form - then I think Isner would have been about a -125 or -130 favorite. I think Stosur-Zvonareva would have been about a pick 'em if not for her crushing Lisicki. I had Stosur in the semis and won't be backing down. Both are playing solid tennis, but Stosur has the weaponry over Zvonareva and you have to like that she's won both the tie break sets they played this year in what is likely going to be a tight match.

Stosur is 7-1 lifetime against Vera, she's in her head, clearly cause I feel like Vera is the more skilled player. But Stosur is confident, and when she's hot, she's hot. Value is with Stosur IMO

imo no respect for z in this position, stosur appears to have an iron will unlike z who seems to break down at times
