She does look to have a more rounded game than Oudin. But yeah, the media just sets up these kids to fail looking for the next group of American stars everytime they have a solid run.

In the long run, probably good for her to not win too many and get stuck under the spotlight like Oudin did. I think Oudin's US Open run was the pinnacle of her career and the thing that killed it. She had such lofty expectations shoved on her after and she did not have the game or brain to back it up. Keys might be pretty solid if she can develop in the next couple of years without having to have the media hyping her as the next big thing. She'd be wise to stick to Juniors and ITF level stuff with maybe an occasional WTA tournament where she gets a wildcard or something.
