GGL vs DGT

Garcia-Lopez vs Gimeno-Traver 2-0 lifetime GGL, on clay though. Obviously neither player plays hard court but skimming thru some matches this year i notice GGL played a tight 3 setter with Kevin Anderson. Maybe that doesnt mean anything but I want to make a play on him.

Does anyone know how serious of an arm injury Garcia-Lopez has? it forced him to retire last week after he was up a set on the would be finalist Benneteu.

Check out Gimeno-traver last year. He showed some serious form on the hardcourts, winning a challenger and then making some noise at US Open. His serve is huge. Idk about GGL's injury though

From the info I have gathered, this arm issue has been around for months for GGL. Could explain his poor form this season. Also, he had appendicitis early in August. I'm on DGT today.

Thanks for the replies. I did hedge a bit, GT is just one of those players I just fade religiously though. Tiebreaker in the 5th, it was a close one

Definite fade next round. Him and Monfils quit playing doubles mid-match today. Guessing fatigue for GGL, but not 100% sure. He plays Simon who will make him sit and play rallies all-day and wear him down. Simon wasn't great today either, but GGL would have been put away today by a more consistent player. Looks like Simon made life hard on himself by failing to convert break opps.
