    X.Malisse +150 over Anderson
I'm looking at this and this play looks like it has a lot of value. Malisse has had a bad summer so far and he failed to defend a ton of points but to be fair he lost to Harrison and Gulbis in 3 tight sets and both are in very very good form this summer. He retired against Russell with a right arm injury but it was definitely not too big of a deal, he did play doubles the next day and that shouldnt be a factor here.
Anderson's line is bloated because he took out Murray but he isn't at his best on these very fast tracks. Sure his serve will have a massive advantage, but the rest of his game takes a hit because he likes to set his shots, thats why he had mostly good results on clay.
On top of this, Malisse has good results against these big serves, 2-0 against Isner, 1-0 againstAnderson, 1-1 against Karlovic
He hits a really flat ball and should get a lot of returns at Anderson's feet. The baseline rallies should be in his favor, and his serve can get big at time if he hits a rhythm. I just think he has the edge here.
    Thoughts?

Don't like malisse in this match at all. Would not recommend it. Malisse getting old and I feel anderson is a better player. Not too mention him being 6 ft 8 and can serve with ease. Stay away from malisse. Also anderson has been playing great. Yous aw him in the rogers cup destroying Andy Murray and Andujar and barely losing to wawrinka.

    Other than that...

Just don't bet on Malisse man. Please. It will hurt my brain if you do. No offense.

^glad to take the critique. I don't really think Anderson is playing great though. Andujar is a clay court specialist who was collecting a check, who knows what Murray was doing, and Wawrinka is a complete bum right now who was broken 10 out of 14 times by Mardy Fish..
The old thing does really affect this though, he hasn't won a hard court match since he last played Indian Wells, he did have that nice run at Wimbledon though?

Andujar is a good player and Murray is a GREAT player. To beat Murray is impressive. Wawrinka lost to fish who is also a great player and almost beat Djokovich.I'm just saying man Malisse will screw you over. I don't even bet on him anymore because don't trust him. Fast courts is what anderson plays good on. Free aces.

I actually think -160 is a great price for Anderson. I faded Andujar all week last week but he really just stepped up his hard court game. Kevin is in good form and I think wins in straights, X-man is also coming off that retirement

Careful, there are lots of rumours flying around about Malisse these last few days - he might not mentally be there.

Malisse now at +170. I see a lot of value here. If you like Malisse these odds are a gift.

I still hesitate to take it though. I am going with OVER 22.5 for now. Malisse will show his teeth I hope.

Malisse can beat many top players on a good day. He is a great player. If you take away Andersons serve he is two times better than Anderson.

Anderson has been playinga lot better than Malisse. Not too mention how important serving is on hard courts.

Story about Malisse I read, he's admitted to being fatigued which is part of the reason he retired in Washington - arm soreness - and a step slow from playing so much. He seems to be a little more focused on doubles and having some success there where he doesn't drain himself as much as a singles match. I think the price is about right. If Anderson serves well, he's going to be hard to beat and he picked up some form last week.

                      Thanks EP.

It's been 2 weeks since his last game (no doubles either). I reckon it is plenty of rest. I made up my mind I am going with Malisse small anyway.

Haha thanks but please don't tell me you or anyone bet on Malisse. He loves screwing people over I think.
