I think tennis players can handle playing 2 days in a row considering they both had to play 2 days in a row. Especially with only best out of 3. I'm sure he had enough endurance and has trained for competitions like this.Marty fish has played 3 set competitions multiple times but he still manages just fine. Plenty of players had to play 3 sets and they didn't all lose.
