LoL. Granted she has looked awesome, but we've got a month to even get to the US Open. She could break her ankle tomorrow for all we know. Market will knee jerk react to this though and her futures price won't be worth backing probably unless she's got a cake draw.

I know it"s early but imo she"s gonna roll right thru Toronto and Cincy!! Who do you think can beat her right now the way shes playing?

It's only two matches though and this is the 1st hard court tournament for most of these ladies after the grass season, so we'll see how the others turn up in the coming weeks. We'll see how motivated Serena stays for the weeks after this. I'm not expecting her to overexert herself with the Open as what she really will be focused on.

True... All of her interviews sound like she"s found a new appreciation towards the game after the injury so hopefully she can keep up the good play.

Nothing is easy in women's tennis, Serena looks good at the moment but getting through 7 matches at GS level will test her fitness which I'm still not convinced about.

i thought that was odd as well....it went from -425 to -300 at mine in 15 minutes...i got really nervous

Never read tennis line movement. Never. There is rarely rhyme nor reason to it other than a big bet or a series of bigger bets came in on one side or the other. By the way, Serena has already dropped 80 cents in US Open futures from the price available yesterday. People are already jumping on the bandwagon.

Agreed man I never really pay attention to line movement because you got to pay attention to the player

Lines moves are set to secure the books positions and winnings. I think once you came to an analysis, you should stick to it and search value in the odds. Not the opposite. But I will not bet on her US Open victory, not yet.
