U.S. Open Series Contest PLAYER X-CHANGES

If you choose to X-change to a new player, you will be charged a points fee. This is a SBR points fee. To be eligible for you X-change to count for a tournament, you must pay the fee by the day of the Championship match of the tournament. Failure to do so will result in your disqualification for that specific tournament. YOU WILL be able to continue to play the other tournaments, but you will net ZERO points for the tournament you default on.

I am giving your five points back. May not have been clear in the rules I set out but this is how it is stated:

For this series of tournaments, we are going to run an X-change program to test your skill as tournaments progress. Prior to each tournament, you will select one player that you must keep until the quarterfinals for ATP 250 level tournaments and for their first two matches for ATP 500 & 1000 level tournaments. Once your player has gotten to this point in the tournament or lost as the case may be, you can choose to continue to ride with that player for the remainder of the tournament or X-change to a different player if you think someone else looks like a better bet to go deeper in the tournament as it has progressed.

The way I meant that to read in case it is unclear is that once your player gets to the QFs as is the case for this 250 level tournament or plays two matches as is the case with a 500/1000 level ... you are either choosing to keep your original player for the rest of the tournament or to change to another. You only have this one shot to X-change. Once your original player plays that next match as was the case with Del Potro in the QFs last night, you do not have the opportunity to make an X-change any more. Sorry if that was unclear, but that is how I intended the X-changes to take place. Make sense?

I really want to jump off Isner after watching him labor tonight and that seems like a pretty good choice with his bracket but I dont trust Verdasco, Monfils, Baghdatis or Tipsarevic to win this. What a poor tourney.

I'll hold those two, but you normally want to wait until today's action is actually finished before picking in case you're picking someone who loses. Also, make sure you continue to pay two points per day to get the total of ten paid.
