Peer is the #1 seed in DC...

Can see some crazy upsets there..Watson's draw look fairly easy and +3400 is to had.

Doi is playing, lets see if she can continue her amazing Wimby run, might lose first round or

Lots of Chalk in Stanford as usual..Lisicki stands out at +800 to win it if she can get by Stosur.

Georges looks enticing at +2500.

My dad lives in DC and I live there about most of he year for work but I really don't know alot about the tourney. The local media in DC has been focusing on the courts and this is the first year of thge tourney so it is hard to say much about it.

Its at the college park tennis center where kids from maryland play and a USTA Regional Training Center. I have never hit any balls there but I have heard the outdoor courts are fast.

I am thinking Paszek may win this, Petrova is just having a dismal year, Peer has had a few dismal months lately but is doing better on hard courts this year. I might look at Dokic as well.
