    ATP Atlanta/Hamburg..Discussion..
Another week, two more tourneys! 250 in the ATL and a 500 in Hamburg..

    ATL...Draw..http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2011/6116/mds.pdf

Fish has mucho points to defend, but I wonder how much the Davis cup loss will be in his mind? Hewitt is like 174th in rankings and needs points BADLY. He is in a side of the bracket whee I think he can do some damage, would not surprise me one bit if he were to make it to the semis.
Muller might be worth a shot on a future he was killing it in the challengers before wimby and did well there, that serve of his might do it vs Subpar competition in the Peach City. Faces Bogo, then possibly a not 100% HAAS and Ginepri??!! I think he can beat Anderson/young/Russell too.

    Hamburg..Draw..http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2011/414/mds.pdf..
Sink or swin for Golubev..he won this last year and if he doesnt do good,he is back in the challenger circuit.
Not to sure on any longshots though. Anyone else have advice?

Do you think Americans have an advantage in Atlanta at all Beefcake?

I thought all 4 of these seemed like better odds than expected. Obviously you wont think so for Bogo though

Ryan Sweeting* -104 vs Somdev Devvarman
James Blake* -135 vs Ernests Gulbis
Alex Bogomolov Jr.* -120 vs Gilles Muller
Donald Young* -155 vs Michael Russell

Atlanta has a new surface this year - there's a chance it's much faster. Worth keeping an eye on, in the heat there it could be extremely quick if that's the case.

HeeHawww is the phrase 'LA Sparks are God's gift to faders' your creation? Did you see what they did last night? More importantly, do you think they can do it again tonight?

Thanks for that Hee. Might help Muller, he has a pretty good serve, he aced the shit out of RAFA at Wimbledon.

Meant to say "new location" this year - the surface is still made by Decoturf, but that covers a pretty wide range.

Anderson should like it though, nice high bounce.

Figures the German players went Boffo today in Hamburg, if Golubev can win this tourney would not surprise me in the least to see someone like Kamke, Stebe or reister make it to the semis or later..
