    Soderling vs Ferrer
What do you guys think about this one tomorrow?

I think there is great value on Soderling at 4/6.

He played a really solid tournament, just like Ferrer did, I just don't see Ferrer beating him the way he is playing even though its clay.

I hope today was a good indicator that Soderling is starting a return to form. He looked unstoppable out there against berdych and looked dominant against starace. I also liked the way Soderling sounded after the match, "It's incredibly fun to play this well. It's been a while since I have felt like this," he told the TV4 channel after the match. Soderling has really been a major disappointment this year.

Ferrer looked pretty dominant as well but Almagro was just making error after error. I like Sodas' h2h record against Ferrer, going 9-4 against Ferrer and winning 3 of 5 on clay, but Ferrer is always tough. If Soderling can serve well, he should face alot of break opportunities on Ferrers' serve like he had against Berdych. Soderling was crushing Berdych's second serve most of the match.

The number on Soderling is good so its worth a punt . It should be a really good match to watch.

Lol how has Soderling been a major disappointment this year? Have you seen his overall record and that on clay? It's outstanding.

As for the Ferrer/Soderling match itself - I think it's a 50/50 tossup. Ferrer is NEARLY unbeatable on Clay unless it's against Djokovic or Nadal. Leaning towards taking Soderling in this matchup anyhow.

I don't know what your expectations out of Soderling but this has been far from an outstanding year for him. Losing to Tomic at Wimbledon, sick or not, was horrible and he has been far from dominant on clay this year.

He was beaten in straight sets by Nadal at the French and crushed by Djokovic in Rome, he lost to Federer in Madrid and Del Potro in Estoril , and Ivan Dodig in Barcelona! I love watching Soderling when he is on his game and he has certainly looked great this week.

Ferrer is great on clay but he is far from being unbeatable on the surface, Soderling beat him on clay during their last two matchups, last year in Bastad and at the French in 2009 and does have an overall winning H2H record against Ferrer on clay.

It should be a great match, I think it will depend alot on the serve of Ferrer and Soderlings ability to key on a Ferrer second serve, that was the key to Soderlings dominance in the Berdych game in my opinion.

I believe this will be a balanced game, given the form of the two players. Their match history also shows a lot of 3 sets games, and it indeed looks like anyone can win. I will back Soderling, however.
The day has come for the final game of the SkiStar Open, with basically the best ranked players in the tournament reaching the final stage. ...

I believe Ferrer will take this . He is having an outstanding tournament so far and don't forget that yesterday Berdych didn't show up in the match . Soderling did nothing , Berdych just couldn't participate in any rally and he was making unforced after 2nd shot . I believe ferrer will be a big trouble today for Soderling . I will back Ferrer

I was already leaning to Soderling, then I saw JJ was going with Ferrer and it made it a 100% sure I now completely agree Soderling takes this match.....

I'm small on Soderling. Ferrer is perhaps my favorite player but Soderling is also good on clay and it's in front of his own people.

To be fair to Soderling, he's had a ton of problems with injuries (especially the foot) since about February, and he suffered from losing Norman as his coach - the replacement, Pistolesi, didn't work out, and he's now on another (Rosengren, Norman's old coach).

Soderling was the one that caught my eye, as I thought he should've been a bigger favorite, but it was so late that I didn't take the time to place any bets.

Soderling is better than Ferrer, owns the HTH matchup (especially on clay), and has had a better tournament.

Its pretty much what I expected from the game so far, Ferrer trying to stay alive and Soderling pushing the pace and controlling the points.

Ferrer is serving poorly, he will need to do much better on the 2nd set.

This crowd is super boring by the way.

I have a mid bet on Soderling looking good!
