Fed is the greatest of all time and Nadal is the most talented in the new era but there's no denying that Djoker deserves the #1 ranking right now the way he's been playing this year

What are you talking about? Nadal wasn't injured. Djokovic is simply better than him.

Yeah, right now Djokovic is clearly the best in the game. That Federer loss at Roland Garros was one of Djokovic's worst performances this year. The long layoff and weather conditions seemed to screw with him.

People will continue to try and find reasons for why Djokovic is not the best.
Until Sunday, the refrain was "ok he's won some matches, but he can't beat Nadal in a major." (as if kicking Nadal's ass repeatedly in best of 3s wouldn't translate to best of 5s)

Great year. Will be interesting to see how long he can keep this level up.

I wonder how long he will be #1. Crazy it's been nothing but Fed and Rafa for 8 years! Happy for the guy, he must be feeling amazing right now... hope he can keep this level of play up for a while. This is really good for the sport.

Should be #1 for the rest of the year, at the very least.
