She's not even that great defensively, but it seems Vera and Venus just completely missed so many easy shots. Venus handed her breaks of serve. Venus just missed about 5 overhead smashes. No lie

I expected the Kvitova-Pironkova betting line to be close. How does beating Venus and the world number 3 not earn you close to a pick em? I know Pironkova didn't really beat those players, so much as they beat themselves. But the odds seem silly. Kvitova is a bigger favorite than Venus was. If Kvitova plays her game, obviously she will win. But this is WTA. I'm really surprised with the odds.
