Soderling is a choke artist. To be honest, I think he practically handed the match to Tomic. There is no way in hell a player of Soderling's caliber could lose to an 18 year old kid like Tomic if Soderling was actually playing his best tennis. Tomic's an alright player at best, I checked out his stats but he's ranked 115. Playing these big dogs who have decent records seem to be worth it..

all the newb's come out for the majors...if you think you can predict a match based on rankings you need help.

newsflash - you can't call someone a choke artist for losing 3-0. Now if he was up 2-0 and a break and then lost then you would have something to say.

Needless to say Tomic is an up and coming player who is probably better than 50 players below him in the rankings.

                        Great call.

I would love to see a new star in tennis but I want to see him play a few more matches, I have been real excited about everyone from Young, Oudin and Raonic and none have lived up to my hopes.

Soderling obviously didn't feel well out there according to news reports and he looked awful though I did think he was coming back in the 3rd set.

"Soderling confirmed that he had struggled after feeling unwell for a couple of days before the match.

"I didn't feel so good on court. I wasn't moving well I was misjudging a lot of balls. " said Soderling.

"I felt sick, I felt weak and I felt dizzy. It just wasn't a good day.

"He played a pretty good first set but i was more worried about myself and finding my game."

This isnt taking anything away from Tomics incredible victory though, he could be one to watch.
