I had Hewitt at very high chalk, and he retired. Whats the general rule of thumb?

There is no general rule of thumb. All are different. I think Bookmaker they have to play two sets, so you should get cancelled. Always check the rules section at your book before you place a bet, especially on tennis because all books have variations on when a match is official.

Bodog only grade completed matches. If players retired during 3rd set, then it's cancalled. Saved me once before.

It depends on the book you are at.Most of the time they grade it as no action.
