Her offensive game is insane. Probably nobody except the Williams' sisters can match power with her. Like seriously, how do these women compete with Sharapova when she's blasting these forehands and serves? A lot of the top ladies have nowhere near the ability to put the ball away. There's no excuse for Sharapova to lose to players like Wozniacki and drop sets to Juniors.

Maria loses because her serve is absolute SHIT sometimes and like most WTA players is a mind fukk in certain situations. But if the serve is avg or better she wins..period..That said. Li is still going to give her a go at it!Comment -

I agree that her serve is key. Her serve is about 50x better than it was just a couple months ago. To beat her you have to punish her for all the unforced errors she commits. Against Radwanska she committed so many unforced errors it was unbelievable. However, Radwanksa never made her pay. Sharapova has just been killings the ball. She just hits it as hard as she can every shot.Comment -

Sasha will win the tournement
She always has an answer to these kicking ball on clay courts with his blasting forehand because she is just powerful and tall enough 
The only way Li and Schiavone (the other finalist in my opinion) can beat her is bounding killer drop shots all along the games.

Li might have the chance, but at current odds, I dont like it. Li is most consistent you can ask from a wta player.
imo, tho, Schiavone is the most likely to defeat sharapova. Schiavone has many variety of shots she can use to draw UE from sharapova, especially during those key points or 3rd setComment -
