    French Open Survivor Contest
    RULES

    1. Entry Fee is 10 SBR points. For PROs, the ten point feet is due on Monday, May 23rd. For NON-PROs, you must pay two points at a time until your 10 point fee is paid in-full. If you are taking part in Shari's bracket contest, you may begin paying your fee after you have paid your fee for entering that contest if you need to.

    2. Your pick for each day is due before your player for the day begins his/her match. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to get the pick in on-time. You can find a daily order of play for the French Open here:

The exclusive home of Roland-Garros tennis delivering live scores, schedules, draws, players, news, photos, videos and the most complete coverage of The 2025 Roland-Garros Tournament.

Any pick made after the match starts will be graded as a LOSS.

    3. For a match to count as "complete" for the purposes of this contest, two sets must be completed. If a player wins by walk-over or the match does not see two sets completed - your pick for the day will be graded a PUSH and you will still be alive to pick again the next day.

    4. Payout will depend on the total number of entries. Once the number of entries has been established, the payout terms will be established.

    FORMAT

Each day of the French Open, a list of players will be posted. One list will be all FAVORITES [-] and the other list will be UNDERDOGS [+]. All prices for this contest will come via Pinnacle Sports. Keep in mind that the daily lists WILL NOT include every player to try and make this more competitive. The prices for favorites will range from -105 to -500 only. Underdogs will range from +105 to +500. This will keep the lists smaller, but allow for a wide range of picks I hope.

Each day you are required to select ONE PLAYER from EACH list. There will be a FAVORITES & UNDERDOGS Survivor Pool during the French Open. That means even if you lose your first pick on a favorite and are eliminated, you can still advance in the underdogs side with correct picks. Your pick for each pool can come from the WTA [ladies] or ATP [men] side. You can pick both from the ATP or both from the WTA or one from each, your choice.

YOU MAY NOT SELECT THE SAME PLAYER TWICE DURING THE TOURNAMENT.

If you select the same player twice, your pick will be graded as a LOSS. When the grading is done each day, the standings will reflect who you have picked so far in the tournament so there should not be any confusion on this.

    How is the winner determined?
The goal is to pick a winner each day. If your player wins, you "survive" to pick again the next day. If your pick loses, you are out.

The winner will be the person(s) who lasts the longest without making an incorrect pick.

In case of a tie, points will be split evenly if the tie is between two contestants. If it is more than two contestants tied, then the tie breaker will be A) Who picked the lowest combined prices for Favorites or B) Who picked the highest combined prices for Underdogs. This applies to CORRECT picks only.

Wanted to get the basics posted up, so anyone interested can look them over. If there are questions about the rules or format, post up in here as someone else may have the same question. I think the format is fairly simple and easy to understand hopefully.

Cancel this guys & gals. Everyone is concentrating on Shari's contest as will I. No one had signed up yet, so nothing lost.

I am however going to be starting a new thread that will be kind of a daily thread with points possibilities. Will start that this weekend and see how it fares.
