Part of me is glad I stayed away from this and the other part of me is pissed. I was debating Lorenzi +8 or the under. Obviously the under is toast but the +8 still has a chance unless Lorenzi collapses now. Another strange tournament already.

Lorenzi is making a great showing for himself. Beating a hot Belucci and giving Nadal all he can handle.

Bellucci basically he admitted he tanked that one. He said he was tired and didn't even want to show up to the match. Then after the first set he told his coach he wanted to retire but his coach convinced him to finish it out even though he was exhausted.

That's the only reason why I was hesitating with Lorenzi +8. There wasn't any true gauge of how he played the Bellucci match.

lol, Nadal bageled Lorenzi in the third set.

So he won by 7. Close.

Nadal can't crush everybody every day, anyone in the top 1000 is a seriously skilled player with years of specialized training.

nadal is falling into bad habits again with his schedule playing too much. He should not have played that small tournament in barcelona knowing there are 2 masters in a row coming up.

Nadal made me lose a lot when he lost first set. Anyway a great clay player.
