    is there a statistic?
what percent of players that win the 2nd set to force a 3rd in a 3 set match actually win the match?

    rough estimates are welcome

Not sure about a site with percentages posted but I've got a spreadsheet where you can work it out in 5 minutes or so.

    both for 2010

    http://www.tennis-data.co.uk/alldata.php

That's the page itself, it updates 2011 results pretty quickly, very useful site.

Seemed interesting so I looked myself, in 2010 ATP matches were 352-344 for players winning the 2nd and 3rd (50.6%)

      WTA was 392-346 (53.1%)
