CONTEST RULES

*Entry fee of 10 SBR points is due upon submission of your entry.
*Entries must be submitted via PM to EaglesPhan36
*Entries are DUE by 5AM EST on MONDAY MORNING when the first matches begin

CONTEST FORMAT

1. Pick a seeded player [1-8] to lose in the 1st round.
2. Will a qualifier or wildcard entry win more than one match? YES or NO.
3. How many Russian players will be left after the 1st round? OVER/UNDER 1.5
4. Will Federer or Djokovic lose before the Finals? YES or NO.
5. Pick your Semifinalists
6. Pick your Winner
7. Pick one non-seeded player as your "Wildcard" for the week.

SCORING

#1: If your seeded player loses, you get 10 pts + a bonus based on their seed. The bonus is as such: #1 - 80 point bonus, #2 - 70 point bonus, #3 - 60 point bonus, #4 - 50, #5 - 40, #6 - 30, #7 - 20, #8 -10.

#2-#4: 10 points for a correct answer, MINUS 3 points for an incorrect answer.

#5: 25 points for each correct semifinalist, 100 point bonus for correct picking all four.

#6: 50 points for picking the correct winner.

#7: For each win your Wildcard gets as a favorite [Price -110 or higher], you get 10 points. For each win they get as a dog [Price +100 or better], you get 20 points. For any match they lose as a -200 or higher favorite, you lose 15 points. All prices will be based on 5Dimes prices that I will list each night before matches start. The only prices that count are those that are posted.

Yes. Just for your wildcard pick (Question #7). That is the only reason I am posting lines at all is so that there is no confusion what your player's line was on a particular day.

EP, you'll need to make a decision regarding non-Pros as they won't be able to transfer you the entry fee in one shot.

If you are a NON-PRO, you may enter but you must pay two points per day, MONDAY-FRIDAY. If you fail to pay all your points during this period, they will be kept and donated towards the overall prize payout for others. If you fail to pay your two points per day, you will also not be eligible to win any points back for this contest.

So in other words, if you're a NON-PRO and want in ... make sure you do the right thing as far as putting your points up every day.

Yeah Bone, I've been trying to do one a week to keep interest up hopefully between the Grand Slams. So far, we've had 10-12 players pretty much each week which I think is pretty good for here. Used to be a lot of inactivity after Slams were done.

Anyone watch Simon today? Hate watching his matches. Guy is the ultimate pusher. Any time he tries to actually hit a winner he hits it out of bounds so basically 90% of his shots are hitting the ball right back to the other player. I guess it is effective since most people can't keep the ball in play but still it's horrible to watch.Had to turn off the match

Nothing new for him. It's honestly not a bad strategy against today's grip it and rip it players on hard courts, especially the inexperienced ones. Think most veterans - outside of Federer - are able to figure out how to break him down eventually. But the big hitters who think they can hit through him have troubles. Boring tennis though for sure.
