    Possible Reverse Fix In Progress
Ok so if anyone paid attention to the line on Robredo you would have seen he was priced at around -255 half an hour before the match and then it jumped all the way to around -360 (cant remember exact number)

He is about to lose the first set 6-2.

    yep

    it caught me as well.

I can't find a stream, but I'm following along on the ATP webcast. He's getting wiped out.

    Robredo has won 13/39 points.

Gil broke him three times in the first set.

    1st serve: 43%
    2nd serve: 29%

Robredo just held serve twice. I'm impressed.

why does everyone assume its a fix. Gil isn't a horrible player on clay. This isn't that shocking. Tommy playing much better in the 2nd it seems

I wouldnt assume it was a fix if the price didnt jump 100 cents just before the match started.

Tommy prolly just wanted to collect a paycheck. Show up compete for a few games and go away. Gil beat him in Gstad last year, obviously it was a much closer much

even if robredo was trying he is atrocious after losing the first set of a match.

considering moving him onto my hate list. chardy and potato might want some company.

I mean u certainly cld be right. The stats yisman pointed out show that Tommy either didn't get off the bus this morning or a fix is indeed happening. Thats why u can't unload in this sport

That's not out of the ordinary to see that kind of jump on a heavy favorite with very few matches left on the board later in the day. Could have been someone putting big money on Robredo to chase earlier losses and some schmuck sees a name they recognize and bet on it.

Keep track of this stuff, could prove profitable if there is a pattern.

Tricky conditions in Santiago, if one player turns up earlier and has more practice time we might get surprises.

I don't think any fix was in play. Gil is a clay courter...nothing unusual about this match.

Obviously no fix was in play now that we know the final result but when someone jumps up a dollar in price and proceeds to lose the first set 6-2 it makes you wonder if a fix is going on.

Fixes are a lot more common than people would like you to think.
