Wawrinka for me....his return game will give him the edge. I don't see Roddick getting enough points with his serve against him. Should be a close one, though.

roddick in 4 with 4 tiebreaks. roddick has the record for fastest serve of all time.

Not sure I could tell you who has an edge here, but I do believe if you want Roddick - this is one of those rare occasions where you may be able to wait and watch the money pour in on his opponent and get a better price. Wawrinka has been a pretty large publicly backed guy early this season because of his Chennai success + his dominance early here. I don't think there's much secret to the match. If Roddick gets his 1st serve in routinely, we'll see tie breaks because Wawrinka won't touch his first serve if its pumping like it did against Haase. If Roddick struggles with service consistency, then Wawrinka could win some lopsided sets. O/U is 41.5. Over is definitely one I would look at. I think this goes at least four sets ... maybe.

I'm looking at the over ATM however 41.5 games is a lot. I think it could easily go 4 sets but if none of the games go into a tie break then the o/u is busted. I think wawrinka wins 3-1 cause of his serve and backhand form aTching him bs monfils. I'm a big roddick fan but for me he's never been a clutch player.

Wawrinka will destroy roddick. Wawrinka is back n roddick looks weak now.

                        I took Wawrinka -110.

Pretty good value considering where the line closed at Pinny.

I wouldn't bet the over because it's set pretty damn high to begin with.

you're either going to need tiebreaks or a fifth set, really.

I agree. The over is also juiced. Something tells me this goes under 41.5 It's just too high an O/U even for this match.

they're really trying to sell this old man roddick thing. he still moves better than most and his serve is beastly. we'll see what happens i guess.

stan up a break in the third up 2 sets to none. up 56 winners to 11....bedtime. this ones over. i hiope wawrinka can do the same to berdych/djoker (his friend/doubles partner/countryman federer should let him pass to the next round)

Wow. I didn't suspect such an easy win for the Suisseman. Should be a fun playful match between two good friends next round.
