Australian Open Contest - Women's Singles

Each person is to PM me their winners all the way through until the Final and once the first match commences, I'll post everyone's picks so all of us can follow along. You will receive 10 points for each correct winner of a match - NOT SBR POINTS - POINTS TOWARD YOUR CONTEST SCORE. There will be a 100 point bonus to your score if you correctly pick the two players in the Final and a 50 point bonus if you correctly predict the winner of the Final. If you have chosen the winner of the Final and they are seeded outside of the top 10, you will receive an additional 200 point bonus.

The entry fee is 15 points which must be paid before the commencement of the first match of Round 1. The first match takes place on Monday the 17th at 11am Melbourne time, which is 7pm Sunday in NYC, or 12am Monday in London. I'm waiting for an answer from SBR as to how much they'll be contributing to the prize pool but I'm sure it'll be a decent amount.

As mentioned above, I'll be posting everyone's entries once the first match starts. We used to just post our picks in the thread until someone just copied and pasted someone else's picks to use as their entry. Unfortunately those two won so the original winner had to share his prize. Matches start at 11am this Monday here in Melbourne = 7PM EST on Sunday.

Just to make it clear: You're starting off by telling me what Round 2 would look like if you were going to be watching a round 2 match. So the first names you'll give me are the winners from the Wozniacki vs Dulko match and the Tamira Paszek vs Vania King match as the winners will be playing each other in Round 2. Then you go on to the next subgroup and carry those winners through.

A little over 24 hours until this contest is closed. Don't be scared off the women everyone - so many of them are headcases that you don't need to be a regular tennis bettor to do well. Half of the top seeds will probably be out after the first round.

They still haven't released them. They have a note on their website saying schedule of play for the next day will be released the night before so I'm assuming they've forgotten to update this part of the draw and I won't be able to get them now until they release who is playing tomorrow.You'd think that info would be out somewhere because players need to know who their opponents are so they can prepare but I've just woken up and only checked the Aussie Open site. Still not updated.

Yeah Yiser, they haven't even updated the site yet. I had to get the qualies from TI. It's starting to get really cloudy and dark here too. I think some of the matches may get rained out or at least delayed. Hopefully not though.
