Djokavic got lucky against Federer in the US Open Semi's

They've played twice since then if I remember right and Federer has won both matches.

Federer was up 2 sets to 1 in that final playing one of the worst semi final matches of his career while Novak was playing great tennis. Federer was struggling big time with his first serve too and he just was not in rhythm. If Federer can take 2 sets playing that kind of tennis and Novak playing great then I know for sure Jokers win was a rare one for him.

Federer is not done, but Djokovic beating him was not a fluke.

Djokovic won in 2009 in Federer's home country, he beat him in the 2008 Australian Open, etc.

Djokovic is an elite player and has always been capable of playing with Roger.

Djokovic was on a tear then. He's only lost 3 matches since then (including today's loss) and 2 of them were against Fed. Federer isn't done but his best days are behind him. That doesn't mean he can't win another slam. Just doesn't seem like the old Fed.

My strategy with Djoko is always to ignore him as tournaments get deeper since it's too hard to figure out which guy will show up. Fed is not done though. Obviously not as strong as before but I wouldn't be surprised if he won this week.
