Last time they played in LA it was on a hard court and Lopez was a +450 dog. Murray won the first set 6-0 then Lopez blew him out 6-1 in the second, before Murray won 6-4 in the 3rd..Lopez of course covered the spread.
Now due to Murrays win over Federer in Shangahi Lopez has climbed to almost a +650 dog at Pinny. So without question compared to the last match up the value is on Felicity here. I'm not saying he is going to win but this info is just for informational purposes to help you decide if it would be worth a SMALL play on the ML, or better yet a NORMAL spread bet on Lopez.

Yes Murray has a crapton of points to defend here. ..that might be factored into the line a bit..

Lopez is a bigger mug than Murray. Indoors actually IMO makes it a better proposition for Murray to win. Outdoors would be better for Felicity. Just look at Lopez' matches on this surface over the past two years. 6-10, not great, not horrible, but the losses are very bad if you look at them. No bet for me, but I think Murray is going to beat him. Think you'd need a handicap higher than +5 personally too.

Of course, I would never advocate taking Murray on the ML in anything other than a parlay if you like it ... price way high there too especially since he's not always a lock to show up any more.
