why is tsonga favourite against Nieminen??

Tsonga hasnt played tennis for so long while Nieminen hasn't been playing that bad yet tsonga is favourite? worth a play on the dog?

Tsonga is the defending champion , and ofcourse he is the better player.
Maybe Niminen is in better form , but I believe Tsonga will take this one , and he is the favorite to do so .

any player that have been away from competitive tennis for more than 1 month is not worth a favourite bet unless he/she's nadal/federer level

you dont need to know much bout tsonga, what he's doing during this time span (2months+)? Of course he's still playing tennis, the level wont be close to competitive tennis (let alone atp, not even itf).

So, it's Nieminen or no play.
