Any real reason not to take Chan in this match? She's going up against an opponent whom though close in singles ranking, seems to have a recent history of early exits in WTA events with no career titles.

Is there something we dont know? why is 2 seed in tourney an underdog? went from +109 to -105 at bookmaker though.

That's what I'm worried about. In her most recent tournament Pervak played she reached her first WTA semifinal by beating a qualifier who beat Jankovic in the previous round. Here's the draw if you want to take a look. I want to bet Chan hard here but her being an underdog by the books makes me worry.

Challengers can be lucrative because the "names" often are over valued and they don't always tend to give a crap from week to week, but this week in tennis is a good week to relax and get ready for next week IMO. Good luck on your plays.
