Forget it. Monfils is done. I was counting on his winning the 1st set.

Blacks do have the athleticism tho
Monfils is just not 'that black guy' yet.
Wait til one comes around and dominate the sports like the williams. (I quitted watching WTA for awhile becuz they were beating the shit out of my petite euro girls )

Once Monfils loses that type of first set it is a big shot to his confidence. I took Monfils to win the first set at +250 and was looking very solid when he was up a break then got broken back and played like a pussy in the tiebreak. all downhill if he doesn't win the first set.

that's a good strategy.
You got any idea about the Federer/Soderling match with the same strategy?

Honestly Johan, last time Soderling played Fed in the wind like this if I remember right he got smoked. Fed's use of tip spin and flat shots gives him a huge advantage he with these gusty winds. We must also remember how dominant Federer is under the lights. He is 13-0 at the Open under the lights.
I really have no suggestions except laying the -400 Johan or parlaying it.

You're right, Federer just used that strategy beautifully to make it 3-4. And there are people on this forum who think the wind benefits the underdogs.
