Verdasco showing life. I heard the trainer had to look at him earlier.. In a way, I hope that he has to pull out before the match is over. My book grades it as a push if either pull out early so it would be sweet for him just to pull out and not have to deal with this agony lol.

i know..coulda won first set as well...o well. if it goes 5 sets ill regain more confidence. I don't thnik ferrer looks as sharp as he did earlier. IF(bigggg if) verdasco cuts down on unforced errors(not averaging over fuking 20 a set) i think he could come back and win it

I was watching the ESPN broadcast when Clijsters was warming up... they did an update with Verdasco leading 2-1 in the 3rd set and said that he had to call the trainer, but I'm not sure why. I am now watching the match on ESPN3. Verdasco does not look like anything is wrong right now, but i'm not sure why he would have called the trainer.

i agree, doesnt look like anything is bothering him. in fact, his best looking set.

Yeah, hell even 15 a set will be alright, still had over 20 in that set and won. Win this 4th and we're back in business.

guys i've been watching this match from the start i never saw verdasco call the trainer. This is the best match of the tourney a mile. Nothing else even comes close

OK. I was just going by what they said on ESPN when they did an "update" on the Verdasco match... I wasn't watching it personally so I had no clue why he would have seen the trainer.

momentum has swung big time toward VErdasco. I hope this isn't a tease like the earlier match was. Fernando is dominating the match right now... lets hope it continues!! And, it was just stated the Verdasco has had a trainer out there and it wasn't due to injury but to retape an ankle... so I suppose ESPN was correct with their assessment of what was going on.

ok i must have missed it dlw. Maybe it was just for a minute when I stepped away. Nando is not dominating the match, he was able to break when Ferrer was against the wind. Ferrer will fight til the end.

Obviously, you are not watching the match that I am watching. Ferrer is getting very few points off of Verdasco's serve. Ferrer is struggling to win his serve and Verdasco is forcing Ferrer to play his game. Ferrer looks like a chicken with his head cut off running from side line to side line. Verdasco has absolutley dominated the last two sets, IMO.

Yes he has dictated points in the last two sets, but Ferrer is playing great defense but Nando has picked up his level of play. regardless, Fernando was out played the first two sets so its really anyones game. The crowd is definitely with Nando though.

Verdasco is going to get more UE obviously but he will hit more winners throughout this match than Ferrer.
