    Excellence US Open - ATP - 07/09/2010 (15-3 Run)
    Tommy Robredo vs Mikhail Youzhny
    Today, 16:00
    Tennis - ATP Pick: 2 (-1.5 set)
    Stake: 10/10 Odds: 1.80
    Bookmaker: 188bet

In direct confrontation Mikhail Youzhny won the only meeting that took place between both.

Mikhail Youzhny is currently in 14th place in the world rankings, he prepared for the U.S. Open to play tournaments in Toronto and Cincinnati. Toronto beat Gilles Simon in the first round and lost in two sets in the second round for Alexandr Dolgopolov in three sets. Cincinnati lost in the first round to Richard Gasquet in three sets.

In the first round of U.S. Open Andrey Golubev won in three sets in the second round defeated Dudi Sela in four sets in the third round and eliminated the American John Isner in four sets.

Tommy Robredo is currently in 41st place in the world rankings, he prepared for the U.S. Open to play tournaments in Toronto, Cincinnati and New Haven. Toronto won the first round in two sets Jarkko Nieminen in the second round and lost to David Nalbandian in two sets, in Cinncinnati was quickly eliminated in the first round by Michael Berrer in three sets and won in New Haven Taylor Dent in the first round in three sets in the second round and lost to Sergiy Stakhovsky in two sets.

In the first round of U.S. Open Lukas Rosol won in three sets in the second round defeated Julien Benneteau (Retired) in the third round and beat Michael Llodra (Retired).

Both players are playing better than in previous tournaments, Tommy Robredo maybe had some luck in the last two games where their opponents withdrew from the meeting but still think it was that he'd be like winning against Mikhail Youzhny then this tournament is great, is serving well and responding well to the service and I think at the moment Mikhail Youzhny is in better shape and is one that plays better for me among both athletes and especially in Hardcourt is why I believe that tomorrow Mikhail Youzhny will win this encounter and will not lose more than 1 set.

    David Ferrer vs Fernando Verdasco
    Today, 16:00
Tennis - ATP Pick: F Verdasco ML
    Stake: 10/10 Odds: 1.75
    Bookmaker: Unibet

Compatriot David Ferrer and Fernando Verdasco are already old acquaintances of the Court, this will be nothing less than the 11th at which time they will face. Interestingly only one occasion they went on Hard Court, since way back in 2004 in India, where the win was David Ferrer. Verdasco currently leads the mano a mano with 6 wins and 4 losses.

Verdasco is a player typically Latin and who nonetheless has many similarities with gambling Rafael Nadal. It is a player who is comfortable in all types of courts, though the hard floors are where the best result recorded. It is a player who likes to play much to attack, try to kill whenever possible and shorten the point as much as possible with the excellent Right. As Nadal is a left-handed player typically where both the service and in their rights can put a lot of power on the ball and a good dose of Spin. Espanyol currently occupies the 8th position of the ATP Ranking. He had a great U.S. Open Series, yet it seems to have rediscovered his best form here in Flushing Meadows.

Still had a somewhat rocky start, since it could only take Fognini won at the end of five sets. This was followed by Adrian Mannarino, player who was posted in three quick Sets. Two days ago one faced David Nalbandian in great shape, but already accused some fatigue, needed only four sets to defeat (6-2 3-6 6-3 6-2). Highlighted was its first service, winning 79% of points on that occasion and totaled 13 Aces. Also achieved a good number of 35 Winners.

The Spanish David Ferrer is a clear expert in land-beat, yet it is a player who can adapt very well to their type of game to the hard floor. It hit the left hander and the two hands, with both left and right blows very powerful and very precisely, also likes to give them a good amount of topspin. It is a typical Latin player, and never give up on a ball because of its great speed and endurance in court. Despite not having a negative remarkable, his point is less strong for your service.

After one more month of January off, David Ferrer soon began the month of February the best way, was first semi-finalist in Johannesburg and then a finalist in Buenos Aires and Acapulco, also having won the tournament Mexicano. He managed a European season dirt quite solid, to be semi-finalist in Monte Carlo Masters and the ATP Madrid and even Barcelona 500, was also finalist at the Rome Masters. Along the way, attended the Final Eight in Miami. Already in preparation for this U.S. Open was semi-finalist in Bastad and reached the third round in Cincinnati.

Current World number 12 of the hierarchy and the record of 42 wins and 16 losses at this U.S. Open, the Spaniard made his debut in front of a U.S. Open always difficult Alexandr Dolgopolov in just three sets, followed up Benjamin Becker, again posted in three sets. In the last round it was time to eliminate a Spaniard, Gimeno-Traver, but let us say in passing that I am not impressed, making the effectiveness of its first service (84%) totaled only 13 Winners Ferrer, and benefited from a silly number 55 unforced errors to Gimeno-Traver.

Conclusion: It will be a game very "hot" and trade with long balls, since they were two very seasoned players. However Verdasco has been doing a tournament on growing, improving his game every day, and on the other hand we have a Ferrer that although it has not yet sold any set, played against players much more accessible (compared to Verdasco) and still not has been a tournament to fill the eye, as it has received much unforced errors by their opponents. That said I believe we have a game to go at least four sets, and at the end Verdasco will eventually win the match.

I've only ever seen options to take 3-0 set wins or not - no options for -1.5 sets. Am I missing something?

don't stress spanks, next year we have more tennis

people I study the games and don't see any value on the today games, so today we have no picks for the US Open.
