    Youzhny vs. Big John Isner
Hate to say it here but I am going with Youzhny. He is a very consistent player and can match Isner's consistent, cool and collected style of play. I think he should be favored more than -140 and my analysis has him at -175 or so. He took out Isner with ease last year (small sample size but still) and I just don't think Isner can match him today even though he'll be the crowd favorite. Youzhny isn't a big name but he's an underrated player and I like him to advance. Good luck if you bet this match.

He had no preparation, has a gimpy ankle, and is playing a superior opponent...he's shot and never had much of a chance from the start.

Nice 2nd set win for Isner, he really rode the crowd. I am surpised, I thought for sure Youzhny would win in straight sets after being up huge in the 2nd set...regardless, you have to win 3 sets to win a tennis match at the US Open and I don't think Isner can carry the momentum that long.

I agree. Youzhny will still win this. It might take five sets but Youzhny will win.

It's hard to beat someone in straight sets, rarely ever see it with players that aren't top 10 at this point in the tourney. Youzhny is a consistent player and that's a rare "mini bad streak" for him, but he's a veteran and will recover. Like you said, it may take 5, but he will get the job done. If this was anywhere but America Youzhny would have been a bigger favorite.
