What's with these Bondarenko sisters?

How did Alona choke? She was outplayed from start to finish by Schiavone. Alona didn't choke. She was flat out beaten by a player far better, and one who should have beaten her. Kateryna....another story

Schiavone bitch slapped Alona. Bondarenko broke her early in the 2nd set and it seemed she had a chance. Schiavone proved to be the superior player with a straight sets win. 6-1 7-5

Schiavone also had the female shot of the tournament with a tweener followed by a smashing winner

No doubt Schiavone was the better player, but up 4-2 in the second, I guess I'd like to see a better effort. Anyway, I was just wondering if either had a history of not finishing or choking in the clutch.

Nothing drastic that I recall. Kateryna had a good run in the Open last year before losing to Wickmayer
