Like I have said for many years, to beat Venus, Serena, Sharapova, hit the ******* ball right at them every single time. They will eventually hit the ball out of bounds. They all overswing

Exactly. Now if one of us could get the chance to tell them that in person, maybe they'd pay us a fortune. Them, and Stosur, rely on ball bashing to get through matches. Figure out how to deal with it, because their power isn't invincible, and they're lost. Power is great, but it's not going to win you every match anymore.

Venus's shot making while she is on the run has been absolutely horrible this match. Every single shot I am sitting here wondering if the ball will make it over the net. Pittiful.Should have hedged after the first set.

I will do something now. I just put my entire bankroll (except for $80) on WVU ML and somehow they won in OT. One of the dumber bets I have done in a while!!! Nothing really pays that well. Federer/Nadal/Clijsters parlayed pays just even money. Not really worth it. I kind of like Nadal -6.5 @-140. Lot of juice I know but there is a ton of shit to parlay that with. All the college football going on, I know I will parlay some games with tennis.

Beefcake the match that may be close is the federer match. Still think Roger wins though. I think Youzhny is basically happy to have got this far, most would in his situation. It is very unlikely that he beats Nadal. The difference in court time between these two this tournament is big. Can't see Youzhny putting up much of a fight here. I think it will be Nadal in three sets but Youzhny might sneak in one set. Unlikely though

Clijsters/Zvonareva match should be pretty good. Kim will probably win it. I have been scared away from women's tennis so I am passing on this match. I wouldn't be so quick to put kim in a parlay though with Federer and Nadal. Might be better to find something else to put in the parlay instead. Something more of a sure thing.

The thing about handicap betting the dog is that some players when they are down basically waive the white flag and put up little or not fight and that can seriously kill a handicap in the last set. I've been burnt like that a couple times long long ago and just decided that it wasn't worth it at all. Best thing to do is to take a player to win straight up and if you aren't comfortable with his or her price then parlay it with something else to make it more reasonable. A wins a win.Don't worry about a win plus covering x number of games

Best of luck tomorrow guys. Let's hope for a Rafa/Fed final. Will worry me with regards to my rafa outright but it's best for tennis

Wow Federer -275 now.Line just keeps on dropping. It almost looks like a good play right now but I am going to stay away from the match. Djokovic is capable of an upset here, though I don't think it will happen.

No surprise that Nadal easily won today. Federer just needs to do his job today and we will get a good final
