No expert, just thought I'd make a thread to keep track of some of my picks. I play more parlays than I should, but I've had good success with them lately.
Parlay for today @+166:

Pending 8/28/10 1:00pm WTA Tennis 201 Caroline Wozniacki -230* vs Nadia Petrova
Pending 8/28/10 3:00pm Qualifying Tennis 624 Kei Nishikori -205* vs Frank Dancevic
Pending 8/28/10 4:15pm Qualifying Tennis 701 Akgul Amanmuradova -400* vs Valerie Tetreault
2u to win 3.32u
Wozniacki has been doing exceedingly well against big servers, and she's just at the top of her game in general. Yes, she had a scare against Dementieva yesterday (bummer for me that she barely won, because I had bet Dementieva to win 2-1 @+566), but Dementieva is no joke, to say the least. Wozniacki has been showing great fighting spirit and a strong will to win. Petrova's serve has been working well for her but Wozniacki is one of the best returners in women's tennis and the rest of her game is a notch above Petrova's, who hasn't played in a tournament final for nearly two years.
Nishikori is another player who does great against the big servers. He beat Kevin Anderson on hard courts earlier this year, and Dancevic is no Anderson. Dancevic has a great serve but that's about all he has to offer compared to Nishikori, who has won seven in a row on hard courts and seems to be in much better form.
Amanmuradova will not lose to Tetreault. In their only previous match (three years ago) she won 6-2, 6-2, and it is Amanmuradova who has improved the most since that meeting. Tetrault has lost five of her last seven, some to relatively weak opponents, while Amanmuradova has been beating the likes of Jankovic and Date-Krumm in straight sets.
