In 2009 French Open he beat Rafael Nadal to make it to the finals where he lost to Roger Federer. 2009 Wimbledon he lost in the 4th round to Roger Federer (who won the title). 2009 US Open he lost in the Quraters to Roger Federer (who lost in the finals). 2010 Australian Open he lost in the first round (that hurts). 2010 French Open he lost to Rafael Nadal in the finals. 2010 Wimbledon he lost in the quarters to Rafael Nadal (who won the title).

Soderling is solid. He's been to the finals of a grand slam twice in the past 6 events. In those 6 events he lost to either Federer or Nadal 5 times.
