A retirement at any time equals no payday for me unless it's on a 1st set bet obviously. Sometimes it works in my favour but this time it definitely wouldn't. It seems Andy is still hanging in there though so that's a good sign for me as long as he loses the 3rd of course.

Not sure if you saw it but someone at TI (could've been you

) was talking either this week or last about how Murray seems to tank 2nd sets quite regularly if he feels it's going to be a tight match. Their reasoning was it's either to conserve energy or lull his opponent into a false sense of security.

TB and Shari- you guys can't be serious.

Murray is somewhat tired. He has played how many consecutive matches on hard courts in the heat, just played 2 straight 3 setters in brutal heat and was complaining about the heat before this match started. How many times do you see Murray trying to shorten points? He's obviously trying to conserve energy.

If this match was about 5 days ago you think Fish would even win 6 games the whole match? Maybe if it was a month ago, but the last 2 weeks Murray is back to his old self again.
