So far. Sidorenko is down 4-6 3-2 (hernandez serving)

And its not really as close as scoreline suggest, Hernandez has dominated on his own serve and Sidorenko has struggled in almost every servicegame..Sidorenko just had one bp chance, which he missed, other than that..nothing. Looks like I analyzed this wrong.

That being said, Hernandez has a record of choking, and Sidorenko always fights..just saved 0-30..but is under 50 % on first serve, going to be difficult then.

Never ever bet early rounds in tennis , we have no clue who is injured, who wants to tank match because of other things going on in their lives, ect

Great work by Sidorenko. He ends up in trouble 15-40 and 2nd serve, but saves both and holds for 6-3 and set..hope momentum has shifted now

All Sidorenko now. First Hernandez holds serve after deuce to 1-0..Sidorenko answers with love game to 1-1..then he gets 40-0 and 3 bp on Hernandez serve..he converts on the third one and leading 2-1 in the deciding set!

Suddenly alot changes. Sidorenko saves 3 bp after 3 deuces, but Hernandez converts on the 4th..Hernandez then holds after being 15-30 down..could be a tough loss now, and wouldnt be too surprised to see Hernandez break again.

6-5 Hernandez, again easy hold to 15. So IF Sidorenko manages to hold, there will be a tiebreak...

Not that it matters, but Sidorenko is 57-45 lifetime on tiebreaks..79-65 on Hernandez.

And Sidorenko just held after deuce and saving TWO MATCHPOINTS... , so its a tiebreak. What a match...Hope saving those two matchpoints can help him mentally through the tiebreaker and opposite crush Hernandez.

Malek really struggling getting her first serves in now..she saves 4 bp and holds to 5-4..Then its 15-30 in Rodionova serve, but Rod escapes and holds to 5-5.

Malek then goes from 30-15 to 30-40, and Rodionova converts on her 5th chance of the match, expekted that, too much pressure from the Australian girl who breaks to 6-5.

Malek then misses another breakpoint, her 3rd of the match when Rod serves for the set...7-5 for the Australian, but think this is far from over.

Much better start to the 2nd set. First a hold after deuce, then a break for Malek and another hold gives her a 3-0 lead.

Lets hope history repeats itself. last time these met, Malek also won in 3.

Im not watching the match, but judging by scoreboard, it looks like the unforced errors are picking up on Rodionova. Malek first holds easy to 4-1, then breaks to 5-1 after Rod being down 0-40 on her own serve.

Malek serving for the set at 5-1, manages to get broken on the first chance of Rod in the entire set 5-2.

Rod then held very easily to 5-3, and I was fearing for a massiv choke by Malek from 5-1 up and 30-30. Luckily she keeps her cool and serves it out to 6-3 2nd set, after first missing 40-15 to 40-40! Strong.

Malek couldn't consolidate her opening break in the 3rd but she is tough and will battle until the end, always like backing her at plus money. I think she gets this one done, Rodionova is struggling bad on her service.

Typical WTA start to the third set.

Malek breaks to 1-0, then Rodionova rebreaks to 1-1 after several deuces. Then malek breaks again..2-1 and serving.
