I always make a small future on Roddick because the odds are there, only a matter of time until he gets this one.

interesting point Ice, I think you may be right...I don't know if Roddick can actually win it, but 14/1 isn't bad to hedge against when Roddick inevitably makes it deep into the US Open.
Roger Federer +200
Rafael Nadal +250
Andrew Murray +300
Novak Djokovic +700
Tomas Berdych +750
Juan Martin Del Potro +800
Robin Soderling +800
Andy Roddick +1400

very difficult to predict what lies ahead in the rest of the HC season...I think Fed gets his act together for another US open run beyond his recent QF loses...The conditions at flushing are not conducive to Nadals game at all

He is pretty much always good hedge material at his high odds to win the Open. I just think God can't be that cruel to one individual so he has to come through one of these times. It might be wishful thinking but the guy has played well enough here that he could have won it, hope this is the year.

I think Roddick's shot at the US Open is nearly = to Nadal's really...
Nadal is not a hard court player. Maybe one day he will be...but as of now, US Open titles:
Roddick: 1
Nadal: 0
