It is a little larger than normal, but only 4u larger than I normally go as my highest play. Its not a chase, but I guess if I was up I would just keep it at 10u but pretty confident in this one, just not sold on Wicky and feel Vera will get it done today.

I personally have to stay away from that one only because on one hand you have Wicky who isn't the strongest grass player and then you have the Russian who crumbles against those with a strong serve. Too hard for me to pick so I'll steer clear and cheer you on as always!

kanepi looks like she is back to some old form,but those romanian girls are tough.

Kinda like the russian Pavy vs wozi..

Thanks for the winner on Zako again Ice! You the man. Was only able to do money line...my local doesnt offer the points. I know nothing about betting tennis so i just follow you, lol. It works out

Notes:

For anyone that has a book that doesn't offer caps, I would still play Z on the ML, its just that my book had the +1.5 at +105 and the ML at +111 and to me the extra game and a half was far more valuable tham the 6 cent difference in prices.

Also like Kanepi today but the ML is at (210) and they are listing the cap at -3.5 (145), only way I'll play it is if the cap goes to 4 and is at plus money or low juice on the minus side. I am fairly confident she gets the job done today but 145 let alone 210 is too much juice for my liking.

On the mens side I didn't see much I liked, may make a small play on Hewitt to get past Joker, but will just be a small play.

Ice, what do you think about Li/Radwanska? I'm liking Radwanska, with plus odds and a favorable history against Li (on grass too, at that).

Good luck today, think I might jump on that Kvitova play. The other two are too much of a crapshoot for me.

Hey Griff.

At first look I liked Rad, I mean she has taken the last 2 H2H (both on grass in 2009) and she has been cruising at Wimb, outscoring her opponents 36 games to 12 games. In addition she is at plus money which also makes her appealing in this spot. She's 3-1 this year on the grass and 9-3 on grass from the start of the 2009 season, so she is getting it done on the grass.

As for Li, she is having a solid tourney as well only dropping 18 games to this point and I have noticed in the past that she always seems to find a way of getting out of trouble. She is 9-0 this year on the grass and hasn't lost a match on grass since Wimby last year and guess what it was against Rad.

Conclusion - Too many variables for me to make a play here, I like the mental aspect in Rad's favor because she was Li's last loss and it was at this same place, Wimby, but at the same time Li may have revenge on her mind and come out with a chip on her shoulder. In addition, Li has been getting the job done this season on grass and I'm not one to jump into a streak like hers, especially in a major. I don't like to back Li because as I pointed out earlier, she always seems to get herself in trouble but manages to somehow get out of it; don't want to be sweating this one out. \

I was thinking the same before when I saw only a 6 cents difference between the two at my book but I just feel Z is playing far better than JJ at the current time and to get her at plus money is a good deal IMO. Have to ride Z while she is well and with JJ's history on the big stage, I feel Z can jump on her early and take the opening set, so if I lose this play feel JJ will have to do it by coming from behind and I'll take my chances with that.

Outside from the statistical reasons, its on grass, she is in better form IMO, in better shape, and should be a little pissed off and hungry after losing in a final a few weeks back. I love backing Clijs when you get a the rare line when she is playing another top notch player, like I backed her to beat Serena and she rolled her in straights, but this is on grass and I just feel Henin will roll today in straights. If it does happen to go 3 sets, then I still like my chances because as I mentioned I think she is in far better shape than Clijs.

Should have done better today, pissed at myself. If I grow a sack and play the ML on Z it gets graded, grow a sack and lay the price on Kanepi get paid, and I always fade Bartoli and the day I don't, gets rolled. Oh well just going to have to have to bounce back tomorrow, sorry for any that followed today, will make it back tomorrow.

I played Z on ML and they graded it as a push...says it needs to go 2 sets for action.

Just bad luck on Henin, she came out strong from what I am guessing
